Update an existing game
A version is a saved copy of your game. Make a new version without making a second game card.
1. Change your local game
Keep a backup. Make your changes in the same project. Play and check the new files, just like the first time.
2. Pick your existing game
In My games, choose Upload new version for that game. Uploading immediately replaces the version people play, while keeping its public, unlisted, or draft visibility. Test carefully on your computer first. With the CLI, ask your helper to check the game ID before uploading.
Use the Hugame skill to update my existing game, not create a new game. Show me the matching game title and ID first. Warn me that this replaces the current version immediately, validate it, and upload it only after I confirm.
3. Check the replacement
Open the game’s play page after the upload and test it again. Its link, visibility, settings, and leaderboard stay the same.
4. Keep your backup
Hugame keeps only the new version. Keep your local backup in case you need to restore the previous build by uploading it again.
