Upload and share
Upload means sending a copy to Hugame. A draft is private: it is not in the arcade yet.
1. Check if you’re eligible
Hugame asks for your birth month and year when you finish your profile. Uploading is for ages 13 and up. If you are under 13, you’d better to ask an adult, such as your parent, to review your game and upload for you.
2. Send the ZIP
When your game is ready, you can simply ask the agent for a zip.
Create a zip in hugame format.
Then open the upload page and drag the zip there.
3. Play the private preview
Go to my games, find the game you just uploaded, and click the “Preview” link.
Open your private preview. Test a full round and the controls. Check that all pictures and sounds work. This preview is for the account holder; it is not a public play link.
If you find any unexpected errors, simply fix it locally and re-upload.
4. Make it public and share
Once you think your game is ready, change the “visibility” to “public”, and your game is now live. Open the game, and share the link with your friends.
Ready?
- I’m eligible to upload a game.
- The upload passed its checks.
- I played the private preview.
- I made the game public and shared it.
